Monsanto is a charming village on the hillside in Portugal. It houses, sandwiched between giant boulders and tiny streets, prorezannyei through the rock. Appearance village has not changed for centuries. In 1938, for Monsanto was voted as a "most Portuguese village in Portugal" in the national competition and, since then, building restrictions have allowed the village to remain a living museum. There is not easily accessible by public transport, but the village atmosphere is such a trip.
